Sourcing, Grading & Logistics FAQs
Do you ship internationally and how are customs cleared?
Yes. We ship worldwide via DHL and FedEx Express. All international shipments are accompanied by Phytosanitary Certificates issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, laboratory test certificates verifying the grade, and custom B2B commercial invoices to ensure smooth customs clearance in your country.
What are your Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) for wholesale?
For our Premium Kashmiri Saffron, the wholesale MOQ is 50 grams. For wild Gucchi morel mushrooms, the MOQ is 500 grams due to the extremely limited seasonal flush. Retail orders can be purchased in smaller, single-box quantities starting from 1 gram (Saffron) or 75 grams (Nettle Tea).
What is the typical shelf life and how should the products be stored?
When stored in dry, cool conditions away from direct sunlight:
• Kashmiri Saffron: 36 months (Keep inside airtight amber glass jars to prevent light degradation).
• Wild Gucchi Mushrooms: 24 months (Dehydrated cell structures remain pristine; keep dry).
• Bichoo Bati Nettle Tea: 24 months (Store in airtight foil pouches).
How do you verify the Grade and Purity of your Kashmiri Saffron?
Every flush of our saffron is tested via ISO 3632 spectrometry. We verify three major indices: Crocin (colouring strength, Grade A+ requires value >230), Picrocrocin (bitter taste index), and Safranal (aroma value). Test certificates are attached to each wholesale package.
How are the dehydrated Gucchi mushrooms protected during shipping?
Dehydrated morels have delicate, crisp honeycomb structures that can easily shatter during transit. To prevent this, we vacuum-seal them in small nitrogen-flushed packages to eliminate crushing, and place them inside rigid tin tubes or double-walled corrugated boxes.
Can we place pre-harvest reservations for seasonal flushes?
Yes. Sourcing Gucchi morels and Grade A+ Saffron is subject to annual crop fluctuations. We open our seasonal pre-harvest allocation lists 3 months before harvest. Registered B2B accounts are given priority when flushes are cured and weighed.
